AlcoholEdu® for College
WHAT'S NEW IN 2010?
In June 2010, Outside The Classroom will release the tenth version of AlcoholEdu for College. Improvements to the program are driven by a comprehensive research and development process that includes quantitative analysis of data from more than two million students who have taken the course; feedback from hundreds of administrators; student focus groups; input from our team of internal and external experts; and an ongoing review of scientific findings and evaluative studies.
Streamlined Surveys
Our research team conducted a strategic analysis to remove redundant or unessential survey questions, resulting in a course experience that is 25% shorter, while providing the same robust data.
Additional Customization Opportunities
School’s have the option to customize the overall look and feel of the course, creating a more relevant experience that represents your campus culture and students.
Enhanced Diversity and Inclusion
We continually strive to ensure that course content is inclusive of multiple student perspectives, including varied experiences, beliefs, and cultures.
Referral Tool for High-Risk Drinkers
High-risk drinkers receive additional personalized feedback, making them aware of their campus’s treatment or counseling services and encouraging them to schedule an appointment. Schools may customize this messaging, add campus-specific links, and create incentives for student participation.
