SexualAssaultEdu uses a population-level approach to educate students on the issues associated with sexual assault. This optional module is integrated seamlessly into AlcoholEdu for College, using a consistent, non-opinionated tone to offer students a smooth transition from one section to the next.
Like AlcoholEdu for College, you can track your students' completion progress right from the AlcoholEdu Hub. And, SexualAssaultEdu's built-in evaluation metrics allow you to assess the impact of the program.
Clearly defined terminology. SexualAssaultEdu provides students with specific definitions pertaining to sexual assault. The program addresses important distinctions between making decisions when consent is present and when consent is absent or difficult to identify. The program also notes that specific legal definitions may vary from state to state and provides important resources for students who seek additional information.

Current statistical data. The program relies on current statistics from the US Department of Justice to support the messages delivered in the course, helping raise awareness of the prevalence of this issue on college campuses.
Debunking of myths. SexualAssaultEdu addresses many of the assumptions and stereotypes associated with sexual assault and rape cases and refutes these common misperceptions with facts and current statistics.
Real-life scenarios. The program includes an interactive, educational experience to fully engage students and help them understand how sexual assault affects the people involved. Students can chose from four different perspectives and learn about the experiences and emotions associated with that perspective. The program also provides suggestions and additional resources to support each perspective.

Journaling. SexualAssaultEdu presents open-ended, objective journaling prompts, asking students to reflect on their attitudes about sex and drinking, and how words and phrases used in passing are actually strongly tied to attitudes about alcohol, sex, or violence.
