SexualAssaultEdu™

Population-Level Prevention® from your trusted source.

Studies show:

1 in 4 female college students will experience some form of nonconsensual sexual activity by graduation.1

50% of reported sexual assaults on college campuses involve alcohol.2

Like campus drinking, sexual assault is a critical issue that affects an entire college campus. To help you address this issue, Outside The Classroom has created SexualAssaultEdu, higher education's first compliance-based program for primary sexual assault prevention. As an optional module within AlcoholEdu for College, SexualAssaultEdu offers a consistent tone and style, providing important prevention skills and strategies to all students.

SexualAssaultEdu relies on proven prevention theories and educational strategies to help students understand the many aspects of the sexual assault issue. The program's primary focus is to educate students about relationships and decision-making,
including:

  • Ethics of relationships
  • Alcohol's effect on relationships and the ability to give consent
  • Important definitions and debunking of myths associated with sexual assault

The program is also customizable, allowing you to include campus-specific links and resources to ensure your students have the localized information they need.

For more information about SexualAssaultEdu and how you can implement this program with AlcoholEdu for College, please contact us.
