For nearly a decade, Outside The Classroom has been steadfast in its endeavor to strengthen the field of alcohol prevention through our thought leadership, innovative and evidence-based programs, and deep expertise. As the organization and its impact on higher education has expanded over time, we have remained wholly committed to a single promise—empowering our partner institutions to achieve their mission of promoting student success.

Today, our flagship educational program, AlcoholEdu for College, is used on over 500 campuses and by 36% of all first-year students at America’s four-year higher education institutions, making it the field’s most widely used educational tool for curbing high-risk drinking. With several published studies and randomized control trials documenting its efficacy, AlcoholEdu remains the leading program of its kind.
