The Prevention Excellence Awards

College/Greek Award
Recipients of this award will be honored with the following:
- National recognition as an "Institution of Prevention Excellence" in NASPA' Leadership Exchange magazine
- One free registration to the 2009 NASPA Annual Conference
- Invitation to the Prevention Excellence Reception at the 2009 NASPA Annual Conference honoring Prevention Excellence Award recipients
- An award recognizing the institution/organization's achievement
- A press announcement and letters to the president of the award recipient's institution or organization recognizing the recipient's efforts
Highest Honors
Outside The Classroom will honor one institution AND one Greek organization for their outstanding prevention success. These two Highest Honors recipients will EACH receive a $10,000 donation in the name of participating staff members.

Outstanding AOD Professional Award
The recipient of this award will be honored with the following:
- A $2500 reward
- One free registration to the 2009 NASPA Annual Conference
- Invitation to the Prevention Excellence Reception at the 2009 NASPA Annual Conference
- An award recognizing the individual's achievement
- A letter to the president of the award recipient's institution or organization recognizing his or her efforts
- National recognition in NASPA's Leadership Exchange magazine

Excellence in Student Leadership Award
This award will recognize up to six students with the following:
- A $1,000 cash prize
- An award recognizing the individual's achievement
- A letter to the president of the award recipient's institution or organization recognizing his or her efforts
