Excellence in Student Leadership Awards
Nomination Guidelines
Each Excellence in Student Leadership Award nomination packet must include the following:
- Completed cover sheet: Nomination Packet Cover Sheet
- A one-page letter of support from an advisor, faculty, staff member, etc. This must come from someone other than the person who is nominating the individual (no supporting letters from students/peers, please).
- A narrative of no more than three pages that includes the following information:
- Brief description of the program/project for which the individual is being nominated
- Methods used to evaluate the program/project, including evidence of success
- Other individuals, organizations, or offices, if any, that were involved in implementation of the program/project
- Depth of the nominee's involvement in campus organizations, including leadership positions, length of affiliation, awards received, etc.
- Success of nominee in maintaining her/his academic standing
- Any additional information you would like to include
OPTIONAL: Up to 2 pages of supporting documentation may be included (articles, pictures, communication materials, etc.).
