Outside The Classroom is pleased to kick off the 2008-2009 Prevention Excellence Awards! This award program recognizes those individuals, institutions, and Greek organizations that have achieved excellence in their alcohol prevention efforts. This year, the award program includes three categories:
College/Greek Awards
Outside The Classroom recognizes the critical importance of adhering to best practices in the field of alcohol prevention. The College/Greek Award will honor those institutions and Greek organizations that have excelled in their overall alcohol prevention efforts. To learn more, click here.

Excellence in Student Leadership Awards
This award program will recognize up to six college students who have distinguished themselves as leaders in alcohol prevention efforts on their campus or in their Greek organization. Learn more by clicking here.
Important Dates
October 15, 2008 - Online registration deadline
December 1, 2008 - Completed applications due
February 5, 2009 - Recipients notified
Final award recipients will be selected by a panel of peer institutions and national prevention experts. The individuals, institutions, and organizations that best exemplify the evaluation criteria in their category will be recognized with a 2008-2009 Prevention Excellence Award.
