Outside The Classroom's Prevention Practice Management team is comprised of practitioners with a range of campus-based experience in college alcohol prevention. The goal of Prevention Practice Management is to assist client institutions in developing and sustaining a comprehensive prevention plan that includes the most effective use of AlcoholEdu® for College and its data. The Prevention Practice Management team is led by Kimberley Timpf.
Kimberley Timpf, M.Ed., Director of Prevention Practice Management
Timpf has more than 15 years experience in the Alcohol and Other Drugs prevention field, having worked at both public and private universities. Her expertise lies in program design and development, application of prevention theory in higher education settings, training and instruction, and methods of evaluation. Most recently, Timpf was the Assistant Dean for Alcohol and Drug Education at Boston College, recognized nationally for its alcohol and drug prevention program. Timpf holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Boston College, and has served as chair of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Commission for Alcohol and Other Drug Issues and as a state coordinator for the BACCHUS Peer Education Network. She has presented at ACPA Conventions, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Conference, BACCHUS General Assemblies, and Department of Education National Meetings, and was a part-time faculty member in the School of Education at Boston College.
