AlcoholEdu Prevention Summit Hotel Information
The AlcoholEdu Prevention Summit will take place at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Florida - the same hotel as the NASPA Strategies Conference: Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Intervention. All Marriott hotels are now smoke-free properties. Please be aware there is a $250 fine for smoking in the rooms or on the balconies. The front driveway and back patio are the only designated smoking areas at the hotel.
Check-in to the hotel will take place on January 16, 2008 at 4:15 pm, however, please check with the front desk upon arrival to see if early check-in is available. If not, there will be a brief break in between work sessions for attendees to check-in and move bags.

There are two airports local to the Tampa area, Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). The closest airport is Tampa International Airport, located approximately eight miles from the hotel. St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport is 22 miles from the hotel, about a 30-minute drive.

From Tampa International Airport: Take I-275 North for six miles to downtown Exit-44. Follow signs to Convention Center & Harbour Island. The hotel is 12 blocks ahead, adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center.
