This free event includes lunch and will feature:

Alcohol Prevention in Action. Kevin J. Prince, Ph.D., Director of Alcohol and Other Drug Education Programs at St. Edward's University, will present on Saint Edward's prevention efforts, including why the university has decided to use the AlcoholEdu® online prevention program for all first-year students, and the experiences they are having implementing the course.

Comprehensive Prevention: Using a Population-Level Prevention® Strategy on Campus. Texas Tech University's Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, Jan T.Childress, Ed.D., will talk about the university's comprehensive approach towards prevention, using its alcohol and mental health prevention programs as examples. Included will be discussions of the university's decision-making processes and their goals.

Population-Level Prevention® Programs & Measuring their Success. Kimberley Timpf, Director of Prevention Practice Management at Outside The Classroom, will explain how online, population-level programs, such as MentalHealthEdu™ and AlcoholEdu, can serve as cornerstones for comprehensive prevention programs and the importance of using "Dashboard Indicators" to track your success.
