Annual Research Summit

AGENDA - November 18, 2010 (10:00am - 3:00pm)

The Annual Research Summit is our main venue for highlighting The Coalition's major research findings, presenting key insights, and sharing progressive practices identified from our research in college alcohol prevention. This year’s topics include:

• The Future of Alcohol Prevention, exploring emerging fiscal, demographic, and policy trends likely to have the greatest impact on collegiate alcohol prevention
• Pre-Gaming Among College Students, with insights gleaned from the AlcoholEdu dataset on this troubling trend in alcohol use, and
• Bystander Intervention Approaches, examining research and case studies on ways to enlist student support for prevention and intervention.   

The meeting promises to be interactive, inviting participation and information sharing among those in attendance. Additional details regarding the agenda for this year’s gathering are forthcoming.
