Check-in begins at 4:00pm on June 18, 2012; however, please check with the front desk upon arrival to see if early check-in is available. If not, the conference center can store your luggage until the room is ready.
Free Shuttle from Babson to Logan Airport
Outside The Classroom has organized a shuttle bus to transport Summit participants from Babson to Logan Airport at the close of the Summit. The shuttle will leave Babson after the end of the last session on Tuesday, June 19 with direct service to Logan.
Airport
The closest airport to the Babson Executive Conference Center is Logan International Airport (BOS). Logan International is approximately 20 miles from the conference center, about a 30 minute drive. Other airports in the area are T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island (PVD), approximately 50 miles, and Manchester-Boston International Airport (MHT) in Manchester, New Hampshire, around 60 miles.
Trains
The local train station is South Station in Boston, Massachusetts. From the Amtrak Terminal at South Station, you have two travel options:
- Take the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail to Wellesley Hills. Depending on the time of day, regularly scheduled trains leave South Station at half- to two-hour intervals (Monday-Friday), and one- to three-hour intervals (Saturday and Sunday). The trip takes approximately 30 minutes. Purchase your ticket in the station. Then, take a taxi from Wellesley Hills.
- Take the "T." From South Station, take the MBTA subway Red Line inbound two stops to Park Street. Walk upstairs and take the Green Line outbound Riverside D train to Woodland, the next to last stop on the D line. Allow an hour for the trip. Then, take a taxi from Woodland to Babson. Parking at Babson is free with a parking pass. A parking pass will be mailed to you closer to the event date.
Taxis
Taxi trips from Logan International Airport to the Babson Executive Conference Center cost approximately $70. Due to tunnels and tolls, the fare from Logan International Airport to the conference center tends to be slightly more expensive than the return trip. Return trips estimate at $65. When communicating your destination to the taxi, please ask them to take you to Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Once on campus, please provide the driver with the following information:
On-Campus Directions: Stay on the main College Drive through the campus. At the second stop sign take a left and then your first right onto Woodland Hill Drive. Bear left at the second fork and the parking garage will be on your left. The Atrium lobby is located just ahead, around the cul-de-sac. For check-in and temporary parking, there are a few spaces just beyond the cul-de-sac.

Weather and What to Wear
Boston/Wellesley area has warm, humid summers. Average highs are in the 70s from June through August. You may want to visit http://www.weather.com for Wellesley, MA before you leave so that you can pack accordingly.
