Outside The Classroom Media Competition
DOCUMENTARY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read all of the rules and information below before submitting a documentary. Your submission will constitute an agreement to the rules and information on this page.
- Prepare a video documentary from 3-10 minutes long.
- Send your name, school, class year, email address, Greek organization (if applicable), and the URL for your documentary in an email to lancaster@outsidetheclassroom.com. *Note, if you don’t want to post your documentary online, you can also send us a DVD. more info
- In your email, please cut and copy the following "Release Statement" as well.
"I ____(insert name)_____certify that the information provided in this video is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that, upon submission, this video becomes the sole property of Outside The Classroom and that the company may use excerpts or the entire video for public outreach related to the Outside The Classroom Media Competition and/or educational purposes."
- Please download the Director Release Form. You must print and sign this form and include it with your submission.
- Please download the Participant Release Form. Participants must be informed that they are being filmed and they must each sign a Participant Release Form. Please include these forms with your submission. Important Note: Participants must be informed that they are being filmed and they must each sign a Participant Release Form.
- All entries must be original material. Any and all copyrighted materials will not be considered.
- Entries that have received awards from other competitions are ineligible.
