The 2009 winner of the Presidential Leadership Award, Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg, was announced at the University of Pittsburgh on November 2, 2009. Among a crowd of over 80 attendees, the following were present to award the Chancellor:

  • Dr. Kathy Humphrey, Vice Provost & Dean of Students, University of Pittsburgh
  • Joe Mull, Coordinator, Office of Health Education and Promotion, University of Pittsburgh
  • Patrick J. Stapleton, Chairman, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
